Playing with light. Capturing life moments. Chasing the dust of emotion.

Alexandra Ourdi is a Paris-based photographer, passionate about her craft and eager to explore new creative projects.

My fascination with photography began as a simple hobby. With a basic analog camera in hand, I loved capturing moments that caught my eye while traveling the world as a solo backpacker—my other great passion at the time.

I paused my photography when digital cameras emerged, unsure which model to choose and overwhelmed by rapid technological change. Then, one day, I fell in love at first sight with the FUJI X‑T3.

A good friend who believed in my “eye for photography” gave me the opportunity to restart as a fashion BTS photographer and lifestyle filmmaker on commercial shootings.

Since then, I have collaborated with clients such as Laboratoire Ducastel (Subtil, Kydra le Salon) and Enosis (My Beauty Training) and helped others to launch new venture (PITO&CO, Serenity Beauté Capillaire, Aurélien Auto Concept). They trusted me and appreciated the emotion my work conveys to their brands.

“The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.” — Eleanor Roosevelt.

This quote perfectly reflects my next ambition: to bring my work into gallery spaces and to enter several international photography competitions. Exhibiting in galleries will allow my images to breathe in shared spaces, to converse with viewers at scale and in person. Entering international contests will stretch my practice—inviting critique, opening new audiences, and challenging me to refine both concept and craft.

More than recognition, this challenge is about stepping into a larger public arena: testing ideas, learning from feedback, and letting my photographs speak beyond the screen and the labor of making them visible.
